The MEDLamp designed adapter provides the user with two points of adjustment, increasing flexibility and usefulness of the light. This process is accomplished by creating an adapter that moves the LED away from the forehead, where it can be positioned to emit light forward from just above the bridge of the nose (optimal light position for most forward facing medical procedures). It can also be positioned up and away from the forehead facing directly down. This is excellent for working close to the body without blinding yourself with light from a headlamp with no outward adjustment.
This is the same adapter that ships with our headlamp combo. It will adapt most of the Welltop headlights with CREE XM-L2 LEDs. This is the most current version of the MEDLamp adapter.
